Everton create Fan Advisory Board with 11 new positions on club board
The Everton board have launched a new Fan Advisory Board to allow the club’s supporters to have a say on matters at board level, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Farhad Moshiri and his fellow board members have decided to create the new advisory board, known as the FAB, in order to get closer to the fans after months of turmoil.
The board will have 11 members within it representing a wide demographic of Everton fans with seven of them reserved for one person per group that makes up the Everton Stakeholder Steering Group.

The Everton Disabled Supporters’ Association (ESDA), the Everton Fans’ Forum, the Everton Supporters’ Club Committee, the Everton Heritage Society, the Everton Women Supporters’ Club, a member from a group associated to the Football Supporters’ Association and a representative of Everton’s International Supporters’ Club network will all sit on the board.
The remaining four positions will be determined by a vote with two having three-year deals, as the aforementioned seven will too, and the other two will be given just one-year deals to sit on the board.
Huge news
This is just the start of us, the fans, getting our club back and we have to make the most of this opportunity and not et seasons like this one happen again on our watch.
That might mean we get managers sacked earlier than they otherwise would or prevent certain players from coming and going if we feel they aren’t right.

Most importantly, we can stop Moshiri’s tyranny of the football club and ensure Evertonains always get the final say whether he likes it or not.
This kind of model has gone down very well in Germany where the 50+1 rule prevents any one person from dictating the club as the fans get a big say in all club decisions.
It is badly needed in England too and should the same rule ever be introduced, the Toffees have managed to get ahead of the curve and the board need credit for that.
In other Everton news, this loanee needs to be axed in any way he can be after another shocker on the continent.
