Predicted Everton XI v Watford: Jonjoe Kenny starts

Everton will be looking for three Premier League wins on the spin when they take on Watford on Wednesday (May 11).

While Frank Lampard would have wanted the luxury of having all of his players to choose from, he, unfortunately, will not be getting that.

Yerry Mina has once again sustained an injury and there’s a good chance he does not feature again this season.

Lampard said in his pre-Watford press conference: “Myko is good. Mykelonko – cramp in the calves so he will be good.

“Yerry is not, he’s got a small, small injury in his calf so he won’t be playing this game.”

He added: “Donny is not ready – we are hoping he will be ready for next week’s games, potentially the weekend.

“With Ben, similar. Ben is working with every ounce of sweat and bone in his body to be fit and take part in the run-in and that is the sort of attitude we need.”

Defensive injuries and a three-man defence could see Jonjoe Kenny coming in to the heart of the back line.

He has played as a centre-back in the past and we will not be surprised if he plays there again for the Toffees.

Allan could come in for Fabian Delph, but Lampard may go for the more attacking option as they’re expected to dominate possession against the Hornets.

Richarlison has been in good form and he is likely to lead the line for Everton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin could come on if the Toffees are chasing the game and are eyeing a quick goal from out of nothing but we do not see him starting.

In other Everton news, a football finance expert has made a claim on the new Toffees stadium amid a major £300m development in the recent weeks.
