Gary Lineker reacts to Salomon Rondon red card in Everton v Brentford
Everton suffered a big blow in their race for Premier League survival after they lost 3-2 against Brentford on Sunday (15 May) at Goodison Park.
The home fans tried their best to ignite the place, but after two toffees players got sent off, Everton got what they truly deserved.
Salomon Rondon was sent off after he came off the bench towards the end and Gary Lineker has shared a two-word reaction to his dismissal.
The former Toffees player wrote on Twitter: “Bloody hell.”
Disgusting
It was a huge opportunity for the Toffees to capitalise on their home form.
After Burnley lost against Tottenham and Leeds managed a draw against Brighton, the stage was nicely set for the Toffees to seal all three points and get them close to Premier League safety.
The game started off brightly after Dominic Calvert-Lewin gave the lead. But the momentum swung in the favour of the visitors after Jarrad Branthwaite got a sending off.
The most bizarre incident took place when Salmon Rondon came on for Seamus Coleman late on as Frank Lampard looked for an equaliser.

The Venezuela striker did nothing on the pitch except make a two-footed lunge to get himself sent off moments later. What was he thinking?
Surely, this will be his last game for the club, as chances are very low that the Toffees will renew his contract. He may have played his last game for the club, and at Goodison Park as well.
This is indeed frustrating, but the Toffees must believe they can still pick up at least one win from their remaining two games.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are keen to sign this Derby Country attacker in the summer.
