Jeff Stelling reacts to ‘absolutley staggering’ Everton scenes outside Goodison as Frank Lampard footage emerges
Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling couldn’t believe what was happening at Everton before the Toffees’ Premier League fixture with Brentford.
The Toffees’ were welcomed by thousands of Everton fans in clouds of Blue smoke ahead of the match.
Presenter Stelling was left stunned by the scenes outside Goodison.
Talking on Sky Sports, Stelling said: “Absolutley staggering, the fans have been there for a couple of hours.
“It’s a blue smokescreen everywhere, even he [Frank Lampard] can’t believe what is happening.”

This season, Everton’s fan base have recieved plenty of praise from all over the footballing world due to their unerring backing of their side.
The Goodison faithful have realised the severity of their situation this season and how devestating relegation could be for their side.
What is crucial for Lampard and his side is to ensure that a repeat of this season never happens again.
This summer will be crucial for Lampard to really stamp his authority on this Everton side.
There are too many players that are on big money simply not performing.
The Toffees’ should look to youth and developing younger players from lower down the pyramid.
Brentford have had plenty of success adopting a similar strategy and West Ham have plucked a few gems from the EFL.
It is time for Everton to do the same.
The days of chucking money at an overpaid and under performing Dele Alli need to end.
