Here’s the transcript of the conversation on talkSPORT:

“Louise: I am absolutely disgusted. We were 2-1 up, we’re just getting [inaudible] by all the Liverpool fans. Frank Lampard needs to go. He has got to go.

“Darren Bent: You think Frank Lampard needs to go already?

“Louise: Yeah. Definitely. Definitely got to go.

“Alex Crook: What did he do wrong today?

“Louise: I don’t know. I don’t think he is a good manager. You know what, I’ll hang my head in shame if we get relegated.

“Darren Bent: Who would you bring in if you get rid of Lampard?

“Louise: I don’t know.

“Darren Bent: Big Dunc to be in charge?

“Louise: You know what, yeah.

“Darren Ambrose: Would you do it now? Right now with two games to go? Put big Dunc in there and see if there’s a difference?

“Louise: Yes, big Dunc in there, definitely.”

Crazy idea

What a stupid idea that is!

Everton fans have shown tremendous solidarity with Frank Lampard and want him to steer the club away from relegation.

The situation is far from ideal, but one more victory from the next two games will secure their Premier League status.

The home form has been really good, and the Toffees should have won it today.

Lampard has set the team nicely, bringing Dominic Calvert-Lewin upfront.

However, he couldn’t have predicted that Jarrad Branthwaite, usually very reliable, would pick up a straight red card in the first half.

Everton

Still, Everton showed great resilience to fight back and took a 2-1 lead at the break.

Brentford came back strongly and two quick goals changed the momentum of the game.

Lampard still positive changes, but after Salomon Rondon got sent off, all hopes were dashed.

Surely, there’s no question of managerial change at the moment after the Toffees have seen a revival in form recently.

With Leeds and Burnley dropping point as well, the Toffees should be able to avoid the drop.

In other Everton news, the Toffees are keen to sign this Derby Country attacker in the summer.
