Richarlison sends strong message to Jamie Carragher after Everton secure their Premier League survival

Everton striker Richarlison has sent a message to Jamie Carragher after the Toffees secured their Premier League survival against Crystal Palace.

The Brazilian scored in Frank Lampard’s side’s 3-2 comeback win to ensure the Everton will be playing top-flight football next season.

However, the Brazilian was quick to hit out at Sky Sports pundit Carragher after receiving criticism from the former Liverpool defender this season.

Richarlison tweeted: “Wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton and I don’t respect you.”

Justified?

Being a Liverpool legend is always going to come with criticism from the Blue half of Merseyside and Carragher will be used to going back and forth with Everton fans, players and managers.

This tweet from Richarlison is perhaps the striker just having the last word.

Carragher was critical of the striker in April’s Merseyside derby, where he highlighted the number of times Richarlison went down during the match.

Everton were accused of time wasting in that match, but after securing their Premier League survival, you cannot blame them.

Carragher would’ve been hoping for the Toffees’ relegation fight to go to their final day clash against Arsenal.

Instead, Everton’s trip to the capital on Sunday will be a far more relaxing affair.

Richarlison has been instrumental in securing the Toffees’ survival.

The Brazilian has done his talking on the pitch, therefore he is allowed a little dig back at the pundit.
