Simon Jordan baffled with Everton after win v Crystal Palace
Simon Jordan has been left baffled by the celebration from the fans after Everton earned a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on Thursday night (19 May) at Goodison Park.
The Toffees came from a 2-0 down at the break to win 3-2 to secure their Premier League safety.
Jordan, the popular talkSPORT pundit, is not impressed, saying a pitch invasion for staying up in the Premier League hardly makes sense.
Jordan wrote on Twitter: “How can Everton have a pitch invasion/ celebration after avoiding relegation by the skin of their teeth after spending half a billion?”

Fans ran onto the pitch and celebrated as if they have won something.
Neutrals might feel it’s over the top. Everton fans understand that it’s been a tough season and the Toffees have been dire.
There will be time for self-reflection where it went all wrong but not on a night where the club managed to avoid a relegation scare.
It was not a celebration. It was a relief.
The torment, the pressure the club and the fans have gone through this season needed an outlet, and they did it at their spiritual home.
It is this natural emotion that makes the game beautiful.
Everton can now face Arsenal with a relaxed mindset. Then Frank Lampard will have the biggest task of rebuilding the club, and he needs support.
