Everton will push for Cameron Carter-Vickers transfer after June 15 deadline
Everton are in the race for on-loan Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, but Celtic have the chance to do a permanent deal before anyone else.
Celtic just won the league and league cup double in Scotland, with Carter-Vickers a key cog in their defence under manager Ange Postecoglou.
The Scottish giants have the option to turn his season-long loan deal permanent for £7m, but according to SBI Soccer journalist Larry Henry Jr they have until June 15th to trigger that option before other clubs can step in to get a deal done.

Everton are joined by newly promoted sides Fulham and Bournemouth in their interest for the United States centre-back, but it’s believed Celtic are keen to get a deal done.
The player is happy in Glasgow and the club are delighted with his performances this season, so a deal is likely to get done although it’s believed that they could look to get a discount on the price with Spurs not interested in keeping him around at all.
Plans
The club are moving quickly to ensure that the players they want know they want them as soon as possible, and this seems to be another case of that.
Carter-Vickers has been a revelation in Scotland this season and it’s no surprise that they want him to turn his loan deal into a permanent one, but £7m is a lot of money to them and it could prove a problem if other clubs are willing to pay that amount.

Everton, Fulham and Bournemouth would all be able to pay that sort of fee with no problem whatsoever, while all playing in the Premier League too which is a higher level of football.
One thing he won’t have if he leaves Celtic though is Champions League football, something he worked very hard to help the club secure and it would be a shame for him not to do so.
