Everton set to listen to offers for Allan, Michael Keane and five other players

Everton will reportedly listen to offers for as many as seven first-team players as they plan an overhaul this summer.

According to 90Min journalist Chris Smith, the sales of Allan, Michael Keane, Andre Gomes, Tom Davies, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Andros Townsend and Salomon Rondon will be considered.

That said, not all of them will leave, but offers will be entertained with the Toffees then making a final decision over their futures.

Via his personal Twitter account, Smith wrote, “Allan, Michael Keane, Andre Gomes, Tom Davies, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Andros Townsend and Salomon Rondon are all players #Everton are willing to entertain offers for this summer, I’m told per source

“Obviously, not all will go as squad depth is needed.”

This is undoubtedly a step taken in the right direction and one that will benefit Frank Lampard a great deal next season.

Everton have had plenty of players that have let the managers down this past season and frankly, are not up to the level required.

Keane has made error after error but is still being put into the starting eleven as there are no other options.

A homegrown player like him should fetch a decent transfer fee and most fans will be happy to see the back of him.

Gbamin is another move that ended in catastrophe and the sooner he leaves, the better it will be for the club.

Townsend and Rondon, both Rafa Benitez signings, joined on free transfers so anything acquired from their sale will be seen as a profit.

Allan and Davies may still stay on as Everton lack bodies in midfield and the two have proven in the past that they can be reliable lynchpins.
