Everton legends assemble to aim dig at Liverpool before Real Madrid clash
A host of Everton legends have assembled to take a hilarious swipe at bitter Merseyside rivals Liverpool ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday [May 28].
Jurgen Klopp’s side prepares to face former Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti who is now in charge of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Peter Reid, Kevin Campbell, Alan Stubbs and Michael Ball all featured in the Paddy Power advert pretending to be fans of the La Liga outfit ahead of the showdown in Paris.
Evertonians will be hopeful that Ancelotti can beat Liverpool once again in a European final after he insisted he was still an Everton fan and that playing Liverpool is still like a Merseyside derby.
Hala Madrid.
This video is absolutely brilliant. Everton fans continuously get stick for supporting whatever team Liverpool faces in major tournaments and this was the perfect way to make a joke of the situation.
You don’t often see the funny side of these legends and it was great to see the rivalry portrayed in such a light-hearted way.
Hopefully, Ancelotti can do what he did a couple of seasons ago at Anfield whilst still in charge of the Toffees and beat them.

The Reds will be unbearable if they win the Champions League to complete their treble and the Blues supporters will have to stay clear of them for weeks.
Thankfully, Real Madrid are the most successful team in the history of the tournament and will benefit from getting one up on the reds in the final in 2018.
Hopefully, Frank Lampard can get Everton dreaming about their own European journeys in the next few years.
He did a great job in doing it with limited funding with Chelsea and with adequate funding and patience, there is no reason he can’t do it on Merseyside – no matter how far that may seem at the moment.
