Manchester City ace Oleksandr Zinchenko has fuelled further transfer speculation as he likes Instagram post over Everton links.
The Everton Hub shared a rumour which said that the Ukrainian midfielder cum full-back was linked with a move to Goodison Park this summer.
The Athletic reported that the Toffees have been offered the chance to sign the 25-year-old once the window opens.
Taking to Twitter, the Everton fan page shared a video that clearly showed the player had liked the post.
Move happening?
Players usually do not tend to interfere with transfer speculation as it’s something that keeps happening every summer.
However, the fact that Zinchenko has liked this post could suggest that he’s keen on moving to Goodison Park.
While he does feature for Pep Guardiola’s side, he’s always used as an understudy to Joao Cancelo.
He also plays as a left-back, which is not his preferred position, as he is predominantly a midfielder.
Everton desperately need players there this summer so it makes sense to go for someone like Zinchenko.
As he’s not a regular at the Etihad Stadium, the club may be willing to cash in on his services and he could prefer an exit to get more first-team minutes.
