Everton ace Richarlison shares private message to Carlo Ancelotti before Champions League final

Everton ace Richarlison has admitted that he sent former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti a good luck message ahead of the Champions League final.

The Italian left Goodison Park just 18-months into his four-year contract to join Real Madrid – who Liverpool lost to 1-0 in Paris on Saturday [May 28].

With a host of Reds set to join the Toffees forward in the Brazil squad in the coming days, the Richarlison has given insight into what the atmosphere will be like.

He said as per Football Daily: “To be honest, I was cheering for [Carlo] Ancelotti. Ancelotti was with me at Everton last year.

“I have done a great job with him, learned a lot of things and I even sent a message to him before the match, wishing him good luck.

“That’s it. Fabinho, and Alisson are coming here as well as [Claudio] Tafferel too. We have a rivalry there in the city, but here, we are all friends, we talk to each other that’s it.

Hilarious.

It was great seeing the Kopites miss out on the Champions League – especially with it being at the hands of Ancelotti.

The season started with ‘Agent Rafa’ shouts with Rafa Benitez doing his best to see the Blues relegated it seemed but it ended with ‘Agent Carlo’ screams after he stopped them in their tracks in Paris.

The fact that Richarlison has been heavily trolling Liverpool for their misfortunes in the Premier League and Champions League and is now set to link up with the gloomy Reds is brilliant.

Evertonians have found his behaviour on social media hilarious over the past several weeks but now the season is done and dusted and he finds himself with some Liverpool players, you would imagine that will calm down and rightly so.

The 24-year-old has had his fun and now it is time to get focused again ahead of next season. Hopefully, he will still be playing his football at Goodison Park by then.
