Tottenham tell Harry Winks he’s free to leave amid Everton transfer development
By Nnamdi Onyeagwara
Everton are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder, Harry Winks, according to The Mirror.
The newspaper reported via their print edition on 30 May (page 47) that the North London club had told the 10-times England midfielder that he is free to leave.
According to The Mirror, Tottenham managing director Fabio Paratici is ready to get rid of Winks, 26, to potentially make room for new signings this summer.

It is reported that Spurs would allow the academy graduate to leave for £20m and it is rumoured that Fulham, Bournemouth and now Everton are interested.
Welcome addition
Winks, who is originally from Hemel Hempstead, made his Tottenham debut against West Ham in 2016 and has made 203 appearances for the Lilywhites.
He would be a welcome addition to Goodison Park, as their midfield options have struggled this season. Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek both failed to set the world alight when they joined the club in January.
Fabian Delph and Andre Gomes have had severe injury problems throughout the campaign, missing a combined 30 games this season.

Nigerian international Alex Iwobi was deployed in a midfield role towards the latter stages of the season, but outside of Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan, Everton are very light in the midfield of the park.
Winks, who turned 26 in February, only made 19 Premier League appearances last season, primarily off the bench, averaging 47 minutes a game.
He is clearly not in Spurs manager Conte’s plans with the Italian preferring Pierre-Emile Hojberg and Rodrigo Bentancur being preferred in the heart of his 3-4-3 formation.
He has made 10 England appearances and would be an astute signing for the Toffees as they try and build from their relegation survival last season.
