Everton target James Garner has all-round ability and is ready for Premier League jump
Everton have been keeping tabs on Manchester United youngster James Garner as reported by the Athletic on Wednesday [1 June].
The midfielder has been a vital cog in the Forest side that secured promotion to the Premier League in the Championship play-off final against Huddersfield.
The 21-year-old has had three loan spells in his career and looks set to be a Premier League player next season.

If he was to make the move to Goodison Park, he could be a real hit under Frank Lampard’s stewardship.
The Manchester United loanee has four goals and nine assists this season for Forest.
The midfielder has predominantly featured in the left centre midfield berth for Steve Cooper’s side and has proven to be a good operator in that position at The City Ground.
As per Wyscout, Garner ranks in the top ten for expected assists in the Championship with 8.28.
This is only slightly below his actual output which shows this was a consistent performance for Garner this season.

Considering that Garner has predominantly featured in a box-to-box midfield role, it is impressive that he is still amongst some of the best creators in the Championship.
The 21-year-old seems to have a good all-around game with the youngster having at least one shot per 90 min, attempting one dribble with a 45% success rate and winning over 50% of his duels.
As well as amassing 3.85 interceptions per 90.
Considering his young age and the experience he has gained in the Championship with Watford and Forest, the midfielder is exactly the type of player that Lampard needs to be eyeing this summer at Goodison Park.
In other Everton news, the FA have followed up that move with a new charge for a key Toffees figure just a day later, but he seems not to care based on his defiant response online.
