Harry Winks would consider major transfer to Everton, Toffees may find it difficult to complete
Spurs midfielder Harry Winks would consider a major summer transfer to Everton, according to Paul Brown.
The Daily Star journalist has reported that the Toffees have looked at the England international and are currently looking for someone who fits that profile for their squad.
It is suggested that the £20million asking price is a stumbling block, with Everton currently in a position where they would find it difficult to pay up.

Speaking to GIVE ME SPORT on Friday evening [03 June], Brown dropped his insight over any potential move to Goodison Park for the England international.
“I know Everton looked at him before,” he said. “I know they’re looking for that kind of profile of midfielder. That’s a club that he would certainly consider.
“Everton might find it difficult to pay £20m for Harry Winks, but there’s probably a deal to be done there. So, I would think, all things considered, he’s more likely to go than not.”

Tight.
Everyone knows that Farhad Moshiri would pay that figure with a click of his fingers usually, but he is being troubled severely by these strict financial fair play rules.
The Toffees are in a position where they need to improve those before going into any window and start throwing the cash around like they used to do, spending over half a billion in recent years.
Winks could be the type of no-nonsense midfielder we have been crying out for in recent years, with Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure shining at times but being nowhere near consistent enough for their pricetags.
Could a loan move tempt Spurs? Getting one of their players off the wage bill with a potential fee moulded into the deal for later down the line a possibility.
Everton have to be smart with their dealings, they can not just throw £20million at a signing like they used to be able to without having to potentially sell someone first.
This is certainly one to keep an eye on though.
