Spotted: Enzo Raiola confirms transfer update on Everton forward Moise Kean

Enzo Raiola has confirmed that there is “work in progress” for Moise Kean to leave Everton this summer amid speculation surrounding his future on Merseyside.

Writing via his personal Instagram on Saturday (4 June), Raiola shared an image of himself with 22-year-old Kean via his personal Instagram account.

Raiola captioned the image suggesting that he’s working on a move for Kean to leave Goodison Park amid strong speculation surrounding his future.

Where’s he off to?

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport reported via their print edition on Sunday (5 June, page 14) that Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and West Ham are all interested in signing Kean.

The Italian striker has spent the last two seasons on loan at PSG and, in 2021/22, Juventus while West Ham’s pursuit of a striker has no doubt led them to this desperate point.

But either way, we’d rather like to see the back of Kean once and for all because he’s simply not worth keeping on at Goodison Park anymore.

Kean joined us with a lot of promise in 2019 but his debut season saw him struggle for game-time and he was eventually loaned to PSG, where he did quite well.

However, he’s again struggled to play regularly for Juventus in the 2021/22 campaign, starting just 12 times in Serie A.

If we sell him this summer, it might free up some decent funds for Frank Lampard to improve the squad because there are some serious flaws at Goodison.

Sky Sports Italy’s Gianluca di Marzio reported in July 2019 that Kean’s contract at Goodison is worth £48,000-a-week so that’ll be a good deal to get off the wage bill.

Lampard’s had plenty of time to make some assessments now and it should be clear to him who needs to go and where he needs to strengthen.

In other Everton news, the Blues could be forced into a big sale as Alisher Usmanov’s name is mentioned in a transfer report.
