Everton could be forced to accept loss on £73m trio
The summer transfer window is going to be massive for Everton, as Frank Lampard is ready to sculpt the squad to his own taste.
The club need to sell a lot of players – especially those are on high wages – to make room for new arrivals.
According to a report from Liverpool Echo, the Toffees will weigh up whether to take losses on transfer fees paid for the trio of Jean Philipe-Gbamin, Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina, who cost a combined £73million.

There’s absolutely no way, the Toffees can expect to get a handsome fee from their sales, rather they will have to incur a massive loss.
However, keeping them at the club won’t solve the problem, and the Toffees could still find in the same doldrum a year later.
Yerry Mina
The Colombian is arguably the best defender at the club when he is fit.
However, his poor injury record means, Frank Lampard can’t use him when the club need him most.
It’s really hard to build a strong team around someone who can’t be trusted. He sold be sold in the summer.
Andre Gomes
The Portuguese was once destined to become one of the best midfielders in the world when he was at Valencia.
A move to Barcelona didn’t work out, and subsequently his move to Everton has been a failure as well.

He hardly remains fit, and his performances have been below par most of the time. Given his reputation and age, he could still be sold at a decent price.
Jean Philipe-Gbamin
His time at the club will be remembered for the time he spent on the sidelines. And when he finally made his appearance, it turned out that he needs a lot of work to play regularly in the Premier League.
It will be in the best interest of all parties if he moves on in the summer.
The club may have to take a huge financial hit, but that’s something they’ve to live with it.
