Everton: Richard Keys supports Dominic Calvert-Lewin fashion shoot on Twitter
Dominic Calvert-Lewin didn’t have the season he was hoping for at Everton but that hasn’t stopped him expressing himself in the fashion world.
The England international recently appeared in Notion magazine alongside his dad [Daily Mail] as he continues to experiment with his clothing in the public eye.
BeIN SPORTS presenter Richard Keys threw his support behind the 25-year-old via his personal Twitter account while simultaneously shooting himself down in the process.
DCL has every right to be who he wants & dress as he likes,” Keys said. “He’s got style about him although I don’t think I could pull it off.
“Well – maybe. Now is the time to make this argument, not in the middle of a relegation battle like he did last time.”

It is so refreshing to see a player just do whatever he wants without any concern about what people might say about him or post on social media.
Calvert-Lewin should be able to widen his horizons in whichever direction he pleases and he doesn’t need people like Keys to say anything about it in all honesty.

This doesn’t just apply to Calvert-Lewin or even Everton players themselves but all footballers at every level of the game.
Too often these players are over-analysed and criticised for every tiny thing they do which can perhaps make them feel imprisoned in their own success which must be a horrible place to be.
A player’s personal life should be kept personal and various publications need to understand that and give them some space before the overwhelming pressure and spotlight damages them.
As far as Calvert-Lewin is concerned, he seems to have already blocked out the media scrutiny which can only be a good thing as he looks to rediscover the form that earned him his England call-up in the first place.
In other Everton news, it’s time that the Toffees put their foot on the accelerator in the hotly-contested race for a young striker dominating in North America.
