Everton forward Richarlison could leave Goodison Park after his holidays

Everton forward Richarlison is likely to leave Goodison Park after he returns from his holidays, according to a report from Goal Brasil on 14 June.

The Brazilian is almost certain to leave the club and he has reportedly made his decision clear to the board [Gazzetta dello Sport (live blog on 9 June; 19:06)].

Goal reports that a host of clubs including Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur are vying for his signature.

Situation

The situation is crystal clear. Richarlison wants to leave the club, and the Toffees must respect his decision.

He was outstanding last season for the Toffees and almost single-handedly took to the club to the Premier League safety.

However, there’s always the business side of things and the club must sell him at the right price.

Now, Richarlison harbours the desire to play for an elite club, which means that given an opportunity he would prefer a move to PSG, Madrid or Bayern.

While Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur can offer him a good pay package, it is unlikely that Richarlison is motivated by that.

Everton must sell him to the highest bidder and then reinvest the money in the squad.

If Richarlison leaves, the club must do everything to keep hold of Dominic Calvert-Lewin. It will be a big mistake, if the Toffees were forced to sell two of their key players this summer.
