Everton could sanction five or six signings before sacking Frank Lampard in major twist
Everton could be set to unleash Frank Lampard on a major transfer blitz this summer, according to i News.
The online source have reported on their website that the Toffees could bring in as many as five or six new signings to rebuild the squad at Goodison Park.
In a major twist, Daniel Storey then suggested that it could still lead to Everton sacking Lampard and looking for a new man to take charge in Merseyside before 2023.

Writing for i News on Thursday morning (16 June), Storey shared what could happen during and after the summer transfer window at Goodison Park.
“Apologies if it sounds a little dispiriting, but there is a reasonable possibility that Everton allow Frank Lampard to work through a transfer list, recruit five or six players and then sack him before the turn of the year,” he wrote.

No chance.
Lampard has credit in the bank at Goodison Park, and needs to be given time to rebuild this squad and get his methods across 100% going into the new season.
Farhad Moshiri will be thankful for last season, and will no doubt free up cash, whether the Blues will be able to spend it will be another thing due to the financial fair play constraints.
With The Times reporting that Peter Kenyon is now in advanced talks to take over the club, that only strengthens Lampard’s position given their time at Chelsea throughout their careers.
This all has to be taken into account and are all reasons as to why Lampard would need to do something quite disastrous in order to be sacked before 2023.
Of course, going on a crazy streak at the start of next season would not help, and that would be the only reason as to why he is shown the back door, something he will be determined to make sure doesn’t happen.
For now, it’s time to get behind everyone.
In other Everton news, a Sky Sports journalist has said the Blues should complete their first signing by the end of this week.
