Everton could sign Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis to replace Richarlison

Everton could sign Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis in the summer transfer window, according to Tom Collomosse.

The Daily Mail journalist wrote on Twitter (17 June) that the Toffees may look at the player if Richarlison leaves the club.

Dennis has a contract at Watford till 2026, and he could be available for around £20 million.

Superb addition

Richarlison is certain to leave the Toffees this summer.

The Brazilian was superb last season for the Toffees and helped the club secure Premier League safety.

However, he deserves to play at a big club, and Everton won’t stand in his way if they receive a good offer for him.

Dennis would be a fantastic replacement. Obviously, it’s not easy to replace a world-class player like Richarlison, but the Watford forward is highly talented, and fits the bill.

The 24-year-old managed 10 goals and six assists in 30 league start for the club in 2021-22 as they got relegated.

He is a versatile forward who can play on either flank, as also as a striker. However, he is mainly effective in playing on the left-hand side.

Everton are expected to demand a high transfer fee for Richarlison, and they should look to reinvest into the squad.

Considering his age, potential, experience and price tag, Dennis looks a perfect fit.

In other Everton news, the star man could reportedly leave for as little as £35million as he heads towards an exit from the club.
