Frank Lampard to push for significant investment with multiple exits still on the cards
Frank Lampard is set to push Farhad Moshiri for significant Everton investment this summer in the transfer window, according to i News.
The online source has reported that the Toffees boss will push for as much as the Financial Fair Play rulings will allow at Goodison Park after some tight windows.
James Tarkowski looks set to arrive as the first signing, but big sales will be needed to clear out some of the deadwood that has been brought in over the years.

Writing in his latest column for i News, Daniel Storey shared what could happen over the next couple of months at Goodison Park with changes expected.
“Lampard is clearly going to push for significant investment, as much as the issues of Financial Fair Play (FFP) allow,” he wrote.
“He will want at least another central defender, right back, wide player, central midfielder and forward. But with the sheer volume of fodder in this Everton squad, it’s very hard to see how that can happen without first moving on players who were signed by a host of different managers.”

Desperate.
This squad needs a real overhaul.
Of course, the incomings are important, but given the mistreatment of the squad, outgoings have become equally, if not more important right now.
Lampard will be pestering the board and Moshiri for funds to bring in new faces and mould the squad how he wants it, with the signings of Donny Van de Beek and Dele Alli in January simply made to paper over the cracks.
The Financial Fair Play rulings couldn’t be any stricter at Goodison Park, so getting rid of some big names that aren’t reliable every week such as Yerry Mina and maybe even Allan, will certainly help.
These are the tough decisions that will get Lampard the money though that he needs to make the changes, and it has been coming for years.
Some of these players are stealing a living in Merseyside, so getting rid of the likes of Jonjoe Kenny and Cenk Tosun was a brilliant start, long may that continue.
As for the budget, it is surely expected to be an everchanging fee.
In other Everton news, a Sky Sports journalist has said the Blues should complete their first signing by the end of this week.
