Everton unwilling to offer Juventus discount for Moise Kean

Everton are reportedly unwilling to offer Juventus a discount as they look to sign Moise Kean permanently before shipping him off this summer.

According to Italian media outlet Corriere Dello Sport, the Toffees are unwilling to negotiate with the Old Lady of Turin and continue to demand a fee in the region of £27.5million

It is understood that West Ham have also made a move to sign the Italy international as they’re looking for an upgrade on Michail Antonio this summer.

Holding their ground

It’s good to see Everton holding their ground and not bowing down to Juventus’ might.

They know that they hold the upper hand in the negotiations and if there is a pre-determined price then the Italians have to be paying it.

West Ham could offer the Toffees an easier way out and it remains to be seen if their offer is going to be substantial enough.

From what we’ve gauged, Juventus have no intentions to keep Kean on beyond this summer after having him on loan.

They have seen enough from him to deem that he’s not good enough for a team that aims to win the Scudetto again and compete in the Champions League.

He’s also got no way back at Goodison Park and it will be interesting to see where he eventually ends up.

In other Everton news, the Toffees have submitted a bid to seal a major summer signing and the player is already on his way to England.
