Alan Brazil interrupted Ray Parlour live on talkSPORT to slam Everton striker Richarlison whilst discussing transfer speculation surrounding the Brazilian.
Richarlison has been subject to interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham as reported by The Daily Mail [20 June].
However, when discussing Richarlison and fellow Brazilian Raphinha on talkSPORT Breakfast on Friday 24 June with Ray Parlour, Brazil was less than complimentary.
“He’s a top player absolutely, I think any club will be interested in Raphinha,” said Parlour.
Brazil jumped in: “I think I’d rather pay more than £50million for Raphinha than Richarlison!”
Parlour added: “After what he’s done at Leeds I would [rather pay £50million on Raphinha than Richarlison].
“He’s shown he’s a top player and that lots of clubs will be in for him as well.”
Both valuable assets
Both Raphinha and Richarlison are extremely valuable assets to both Leeds and Everton but ultimately a lot depends on which position Richarlison will play if he does depart Goodison Park this summer.
If the Everton man is asked to continue to operate in a wider position then it makes for Raphinha to be labelled the more valuable player.
However, if Richarlison operates in a more central position then there is an argument to suggest he could be a more prized asset operating as a striker.

What is essential is that the Everton man’s future is resolved in due course, the Toffees cannot afford to let this transfer saga drag on into the latter stages of the window.
Frank Lampard and Kevin Thelwell need time to find an adequate replacement for the Brazilian should he depart the club.
A fee of anything higher than the £50million that Everton paid for the Brazilian should be enough for the Toffees to part ways with the 24-year-old.
