Everton announce three new fan board members, duty begins this week
Everton have announced the names of the three new members that have been elected to the fan representative board at Goodison Park.
The Toffees are making an effort to have a larger voice from the supporters in some of the bigger decisions at hand within the football club and this latest announcement only solidifies that stance.
Laura Burgess, Rob Fisher and Jeff Wallner are the trio of Evertonians to be elected onto the Everton Fans’ Forum board position after Blues from across the globe voted them into the position.

Burgess, Fisher and Wallner will all begin their duties on the forum this week among which they have a large say on the matchday offering at Everton, international supporters network and communications with supporters.
They have also got the chance to get involved with the stadium project group and offer a fan voice and communication as the new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium continues to be built.
Progress
As much as we would all love to be an entirely fan-owned football club, such a thing simply cannot exist in the Premier League but we can try to get as close as we can.
This kind of forum and subsequent board positions is exactly the kind of input we as Everton supporters need to have in what is a very turbulent time in our club’s history.

We’ve had manager changes, a new stadium begin development and some more than concerning financial reports that could very easily impact us both on and off the pitch in the very near future.
It would be very easy to jump ship as Farhad Moshiri while the ship is sinking and with Peter Kenyon’s mooted takeover of the club, he could yet do just that.
But having this amount of fan representation at the very top should mean that no decision is taken that puts the future of the club in jeopardy and hopefully, we can begin to march back up the Premier League table next season.
