Farhad Moshiri and Everton board react to Spurs move for Anthony Gordon and Richarlison
Farhad Moshiri and the Everton board are not interested in allowing Anthony Gordon to leave with Spurs circling, according to the Mirror.
The newspaper has reported in their print edition [28 June, pg. 48], that the Toffees wanted Richarlison to be sold before Thursday with profit and sustainability regulations needing to be met before the end of the current financial year.
The Toffees board will now push ahead for the sale of the Brazilian, with Gordon staying put despite a double deal being targeted, as they looking to bring in at least £50million – a fee that has been knocked back by Spurs and Chelsea.

The financial year deadline is looming, and it is not looking good for Everton again.
It is even suggested that the sale of Richarlison may not be enough to satisfy the Premier League and the rules that demand clubs stay within debt limits for four seasons.
Even if things start to get serious on that front, it appears highly unlikely that it will be Gordon sacrificed, with the young winger clearly seen as the future of the club.

Got one right.
Wow, Moshiri finally looks to have hit the nail on the head with one of his decisions.
Gordon is the future of this club, and Frank Lampard will have made that very clear in any meetings with the board or just Kevin Thelwell who will likely be in between both.
If the Toffees need to sell another big name outside of Richarlison, it would be more likely to be Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with the young winger the one to spearhead the rebuild.
With the financial deadlines looming, we just hope the club isn’t forced into accepting a lowball offer that will only infuriate us as a fanbase and see our best player move on for nothing.
Profit has to be aim, and if Spurs and Chelsea want their man, that’s what they will have to give us.
Gordon is priceless, these South American superstars come and go, but homegrown talent comes around once every few years, and that is worth so much more.
