Jamie O'Hara: Everton striker Richarlison is unconvincing and would be a 6/10 signing for Tottenham
Jamie O’Hara isn’t convinced by Everton striker Richarlison and believes that he would only be a “six out of 10” signing for Tottenham should he depart Goodison Park.
The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday 28 June, that the Everton striker is Tottenham’s prime attacking target this summer.
However, despite ten goals and five assists for the Toffees in the 2021/22 Premier League season, O’Hara isn’t convinced by the Brazilian.
Talking on talkSPORT EDGE on Tuesday 28 June, he said: “I’m not sure about Richarlison, I am not convinced, I mean he’s done good things at Everton.
“I don’t think he’s better than Son or Kane or Kulusevski so if you’re bringing him in as backup then fine.
“You’d have to pay a few quid to get him and I’m not sure he will be happy if he isn’t a regular starter.

“It would be a 6/10 signing for Spurs.”
Justified?
Richarlison really does split opinions.
Statistically, the Brazilian has dragged a struggling side to Premier League safety and 15-goal involvements cannot be laughed at.
However, it still remains unclear if the 25-year-old would be able to make an immediate first-team impact at one of the Premier League’s heavyweight clubs.
Spurs would be a strange move with the London club’s front three pretty set in stone at present.
Antonio Conte would certainly be keen to add the 25-year-old to his plans, however, will Richarlison really want to be a backup option with the 2022 World Cup just around the corner?
Brazil have a great chance of being successful in Qatar and Richarlison could well be an instrumental part of their potential success.
He cannot risk not playing regular football in the lead-up to the tournament.
It promises to be an intriguing couple of weeks for the Brazilian’s future.
Everton could certainly do with an incoming transfer fee to kickstart their summer transfer business.
