Don Hutchinson takes aim at Richarlison, wants major rebuild at Everton after sale
The former Everton midfielder has said that he believes his former club needs a “proper clear out” and must get rid of eight players.
Hutchinson, who made 82 appearances for the Toffees between 1998 and 2000, tweeted out his frustration at the transfer business at Goodison Park.
He also suggested some signings the club should be looking to make to improve from the dire season they had last season.

He said: ” Look how Liverpool kicked on selling Coutinho. Everton need a proper clear-out!
“We need to get rid of about eight players and bring people like Conor Gallagher and Ollie Watkins in.
“It might be a slower process and it might be painful today losing a good player, but if Frank brings in good players with the correct attitude and are willing to play for the badge then that’s a good start.
“Look at players like Jarrod Bowen for example from the championship. We need to get rid of about eight players and build again in my opinion.”
Huge changes at Goodison
With Richarlison’s £50 million move to Tottenham all but confirmed, you can expect to see a lot of change at Everton this summer.
Jonjoe Kenny, Gylfi Sigurdson, Anwar El Ghazi, Donny Van de Beek, Fabian Delph Cenk Tosun, and Andy Lonegran have all already left the club, and there are more players rumoured to be near the exit door.
Last season, James Rodriguez, Bernard, Moise Kean, Josh King, Theo Walcott and Yannick Bolasie also left the club, and Everton now have a thin squad lacking quality and experience.
Everton will need to re-invest the incoming Richarlison money in the squad if they are to avoid the relegation zone next season and with a takeover rumoured to be close, a lot of work is to be done.
If they can build on from the positive end to the season, with new additions to the squad and hopefully a return to form for star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, then positive days could be on the horizon at Goodison Park.
