Everton need more signings than El Bilal Toure to replace quality of Richarlison
Everton are interested in making a move for Stade Reims striker El Bilal Toure as a potential replacement of Richarlison, according to 90min.
The Toffees have been in the market to sign a striker as the Brazil international has been linked to a move away from the club in the ongoing transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur set to announce his arrival soon.
Therefore, as per the latest report, Everton are keen on making a move for Mali international after scouting him earlier this year.

Toure, who has a contract with Reims till the summer of 2024, is valued at around £5.85million by Transfermarkt.
Everton arguably had one of the worst attacking spells under Rafa Benitez and that situation never really improved under Frank Lampard as well.
Some of that could be excused because of not having Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the majority of the season because of fitness concerns.
However, there shouldn’t be any excuses for the club next season. If the Toffees want to see improvement, they must make signings quickly and carefully as well.
One of the decisions the club’s top-tier management must make and make it quick is to find a player who is somewhere close to replacing Richarlison.

As of now, the report suggests that Toure could be that player but his numbers would be far from satisfactory for the fans.
In the recently concluded Ligue 1 season with Stade Reims, the forward scored two goals and provided four assists in 21 appearances [Transfermarkt].
It can be argued that not only he was playing in a team which have lesser quality compared to Everton but also that Toure played nearly half of the matches only.
Therefore, looking at his age and valuation, making a move for Toure will be a call too early to make and the board must ensure that they sign another forward, preferably experienced, as well alongside the Mali international.
