Frank Lampard wants to seal Everton move for Jesse Lingard before USA tour begins
Frank Lampard wants to finalise a major Everton move for Jesse Lingard before the club set off on their USA tour this month, according to the Mail.
The newspaper has reported on their website that the Toffees are set to rival West Ham United for the England international, who is now officially a free agent.
David Moyes and the Irons are said to have tabled an offer much lower than Lingard’s £150,000-a-week wages, with Lampard stepping in and making him his top target at Goodison Park.

Writing in his latest column, Craig Hope shared all of the details as Lampard pushes to complete another deal to follow James Tarkowski to Merseyside.
“Everton will compete with West Ham for the signature of free agent Jesse Lingard,” he wrote.
“Toffees boss Frank Lampard wants proven Premier League players and, given his club’s financial issues and the collapse of a proposed takeover, has identified the former Manchester United winger as his top target. He would like to finalise a deal before their US tour.”

Smart.
This would be the perfect business.
Lampard is clearly playing smart alongside Kevin Thelwell, and there are no better than Lingard available on a free transfer as of this moment, and it is time to take advantage.
Everton have brought in that huge sum of up to £60million for Richarlison in recent days, and only having to pay wages to bring Lingard in would be excellent.
Of course, the £150,000-a-week demands may be a sticking point, but if Lampard has made the England international his top target and wants it done before going to the USA, Farhad Moshiri may give his boss what he wants.
With a deal for Tarkowski done despite no announcement yet, all hands can be on deck to get a deal for Lingard over the line, but it will be one of the most fiercely contested deals of the summer.
West Ham, as well as Spurs, are in the running, so let’s hope that this one can be completed soon.
