Everton outcast Moise Kean wants PSG return, reps in talks with club

Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with Everton striker Moise Kean’s representatives about a potential summer transfer, according to Romain Collet-Gaudin.

Everton have already cut their losses with the young Italian striker, sending him to Juventus on a two-year loan with an obligation to buy at the end of it last summer.

However it didn’t go as he hoped back in Turin and the player is now keen to go back to Paris, where he spent the 2020/21 season on loan and scored an impressive 17 goals in 41 appearances.

With his future in his homeland up in the air, Eurosport journalist Collet-Gaudin says that the players camp are in talks about a potential return to the French capital.

The player really wants the move and is currently in France on holiday. If PSG are to do a deal, Everton will want to ensure they get paid their money up front rather than having to wait until next summer.

Kean’s future has been the topic of many rumours for most of the year, with his return to Juventus not going to plan and the Italians keen to cut ties as soon as possible.

But the deal with Everton has prevented that so far, with the Toffees due around £25m next summer as part of the terms of their original loan deal.

If Juventus don’t want him to be part of their squad for the new season, then they will need to find that money a year early and pay Everton off so they can claim his rights themselves before selling him on immediately.

As it stands though that seems unlikely. Everton could potentially let Juventus out of the deal if they’re to receive that guaranteed money from elsewhere, although the legalities of that are unclear.

Kean is a man that nobody wants in their squad currently by the looks of it, but PSG could be about to make it easier for him and everyone else to get what they want.
