Everton: Southampton make official approach for Armando Broja
Southampton have made their move to bring Everton target Armando Broja back to St Mary’s on a permanent deal according to 90min.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported on 4 July that the Toffees have made an approach for the 20-year-old Chelsea striker.
However, it appears that Southampton have lodged the most serious approach for the Albanian with 90min suggesting (5 July) that the Saints have made an “official move” for Broja.

Broja scored six goals for Southampton last season whilst on loan from Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Plenty of interest
There is certainly a lot of Premier League interest in Broja, with a move for the 20-year-old certainly looking tricky at present.
However, it is a move that Frank Lampard should be looking to pursue with the Toffees desperately needing to replace Richarlison after his £60million move to Tottenham.

Broja fits the bill of being a younger player with Premier League experience who could develop whilst at the Toffees and potentially be sold on for more than they purchased him for.
The Toffees could well have the upper hand in their pursuit of Broja with Lampard’s links to Chelsea and their recent cash injection from the Richarlison transfer putting the Merseyside in a good position to push on with a deal for the striker.
Everton moving for the 20-year-old Albanian would be a step in the right direction and would provide hope that there has been a change in recruitment policy at Goodison Park.
This is a transfer saga that could certainly catch fire in the weeks to come.
