Everton recent transfer activity could finally mean positive change at Goodison Park
Everton have been linked to Morgan Gibbs-White and Armando Broja in recent days and this could finally be the start of a positive change at Goodison Park.
It was reported by talkSPORT’s Alex Crook (4 July) that Everton are keeping an eye on the Wolves midfielder after the 22-year-old’s contract talks at Molineux continue to stall.
Furthermore, The Athletic reported (4 July) that the Toffees are also eyeing a move for Chelsea youngster Armando Broja.
Is this finally the start of a new line of thinking at Goodison Park?
For too long Everton have targetted players who are simply declining and not worth the contracts they’ve been offered at Goodison Park.
Broja and Gibbs-White are two examples of players that could be developed whilst at the club and sold on for profit if the right bid comes in.
Broja won’t come cheap, but at 20, it isn’t much of a gamble to bring the Albanian to Merseyside with there being every chance of the striker continuing his good form.

If Everton managed to land Gibbs-White then optimisim can really start to grow in Frank Lampard and Kevin Thelwell.
It would be a perfect example of the club being astute in the transfer market and taking advantage of a contract dispute and landing one of the best players in the Championship from the 2021/22 campaign.
The Wolves man managed eleven goals and nine assists whilst on-loan at Sheffield United.
Evertonians can take some heart in the fact that the Toffees have been linked with the likes of Broja and Gibbs-White.
If the club can get these deals over the line then change may well be occuring at Goodison Park.
