Everton want to sign four new players to build winning team under Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard is looking to make four signings as he bids to produce a winning squad at Everton, according to the Daily Mail.

The Toffees boss is working closely with Kevin Thelwell as they look to pick up business soon despite Financial Fair Play rules restricting the amount they can spend.

The newspaper report on their website that Armando Broja, Billy Gilmour and Morgan Gibbs-White are all wanted, as well as big-name free agent, Jesse Lingard.

Writing in their latest column for the Daily Mail, Dominic King shared what is exactly being targeted at Goodison Park in this summer window of transition.

“He wants to build a winning, exciting team,” he wrote.

“And it’s why he’s looking at youthful, energetic novices such as Armando Broja, Billy Gilmour and Morgan Gibbs-White to come in; Jesse Lingard is an option, also, as a free agent.”

Everton

Now we’re talking.

With James Tarkowski now being confirmed, it looks as tough Lampard is ready to put his foot on the pedal.

These are the areas we desperately need to strengthen too, holding midfield, attacking midfield and in the final third with Richarlison moving on to join Spurs already.

That delivered £60million, and although all of that won’t be available, some of it may be as we look to build something special for next season and beyond.

The first hurdle is not being allowed two loans from the same Premier League club, so one of Broja or Gilmour would need to be a permanent arrival.

Broja is the obvious candidate, with it already being reported by the Liverpool ECHO that Lampard is keen to use his connections at Stamford Bridge to seal a deal for the Albanian.

Everton could then bring in Gilmour on loan, Lingard then for free and then the small task of also spending money on Gibbs-White – something that could mean we need to sell a couple of more faces, Moise Kean being the obvious choice.

Bring it on.
