Everton ‘frontrunners’ for Wolves attacker Morgan Gibbs-White – reliable journo
Everton are “frontrunners” for Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White despite having a £25million bid rejected, according to Express journalist Ryan Taylor.
The Daily Mail revealed on 11 July that Everton have had a mega bid turned away for the 22-year-old, who has quickly become a top target at Goodison Park.
However, Taylor suggested on Tuesday 12 July that the Toffees are still leading the pace for Gibbs-White, should he decide to pursue a new challenge away from Molineux.

Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are also said to be in the mix for the forward who spent last season on loan at Sheffield United.
Go and get him
Gibbs-White would be a huge statement of intent from the Toffees and one they simply have to pursue if the club hierarchy want to display a change in policy at Goodison Park.
Twelve goals and ten assists in the Championship is seriously impressive from the 22-year-old.
After two Championship loan spells at Swansea and Sheffield United, it does make sense for the attacker to finally showcase his ability in the Premier League.
Wolves’ failure to give him first-team opportunities in recent years could mean Gibbs-White is keen to move elsewhere and finally be the main man at another Premier League side.

He is entering the final two years of his contract and looks unlikely to sign a new deal this summer.
Wolves could be inclined to cash in on the 22-year-old with his value likely to decline significantly the nearer he edges to the end of his current deal.
This would be a smart move by Everton with the club looking to strike a good value deal for the England under-21 international.
The Toffees must push on with a deal for the Wolves man.
