Wolves could be in optimal selling window for Morgan Gibbs-White as Everton continue talks – Dharmesh Sheth
Everton may now be in the optimal window for Wolves to sell Morgan Gibbs-White, according to Dharmesh Sheth on Thursday (14 July).
The Sky Sports journalist reported live on air that the England youth international is subject of deep talks, as he enters the final two years of his contract at Molineux.
Should Gibbs-White not sign a new deal, this is said to be the best selling time with Wolves said to be looking for a fee in excess of £25million.

Speaking live on Sky Sports, as shared on Twitter, Sheth shared the latest with his contract status set to possibly play a big role in these negotiations.
“Everton remain in talks with Wolves over the signing of their midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White,” he said.
“There’s still a gap though in valuation. Wolves are yet to decide as well whether they do actually want to sell Morgan Gibbs-White, personal terms would not be a problem, we’re told if a deal can be agreed.
“Wolves are looking for in excess of £25million. He’s entered the final two years of his contract though has Morgan Gibbs-White so if he doesn’t sign a new contract with Wolves, you would think, that this would be the optimal window to get the maximum amount of cash.”
Optimal.
If Wolves were in that stage right now, they could look to push Gibbs-White towards Everton.
Of course, that may be good and bad news for the Toffees.
As we all know, the financial fair play rules are strict at Goodison Park, and they will need to be resolved with Premier League approval to pull off a deal of this magnitude.
Given that a £25million bid has already gone in, it is likely that Wolves want much more than that, and Everton cannot be dragged into an auction where they are the only bidders.
Either they want to sell or not, and Kevin Thelwell will need to make up his mind sooner rather than later on if he is being stringed along, or this could actually happen.
Money talks at the end of the day, but with multiple new signings needed, there will be a cut-off point where the Toffees need to think of the bigger picture and not just one transfer.
