PSV Eindhoven in race against time to sign Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite
PSV Eindhoven find themselves in race against time to secure the loan deal for Everton young defender Jarrad Branthwaite, as per Eindhoven Dagblad.
The Dutch publication reported on their online version on 15 July that the Dutch club are desperate to wrap up his signing within the next two weeks.
They want him to settle down quickly and be a part of the squad for the opening game of the season, while the two clubs are currently locked in negotiation.

The Toffees are more than happy to let him go out on loan and continue his development. They want the player now that he can provide some breath of fresh air in defence.
Good move
This is indeed a very good move for all parties involved.
Branthwaite got some minutes last season for the senior side and the club rate him highly.
It will do a world of good to him if he can get regular minutes at a top club like PSV.
The Toffees have bolstered their defence this summer by adding James Tarkowski on a free transfer.
The 20-year-old would have really struggled to get games with so many players ahead of him.

It still remains to be seen whether Frank Lampard would be willing to sell one or two defenders.
At the moment, Lampard has five central defenders at his disposal, and the likes of Yerry Mina could be sold this summer.
Branthwaite has the potential to become a regular player for the Toffees senior team, but right now he must focus on doing his best for the Dutch club if the deal goes through.
