Maxwel Cornet now wants to join Everton as transfer talks continue
Burnley attacker Maxwel Cornet now wants to join Everton as transfer talks continue between the clubs, according to Fraser Fletcher.
The reliable journalist, formerly of the BBC, has shared that the Ivorian is ready to go with the Toffees ready themselves to pay the £17.5million needed.
It has been reported by the Daily Mail that Everton are discussing a delayed payment structure as Cornet’s proposed move to Goodison Park gathers real pace.

Writing on his personal Twitter account in the past 24 hours, Fletcher has shared that things are really starting to hit the accelerator over this move.
“Everton ready to pay £17.5 million fee for Maxwel Cornet,” he wrote.
“Player keen on move and ready to go. Things moving quickly.”
Get it done.
All that is left now is for the deal to be agreed.
With Cornet wanting the move, personal terms should be no issue for The Toffees as Frank Lampard looks to replace the influence of Richarlison after his move to Spurs.
It should be quite straight forward too, with Burnley’s relegation meaning that £17.5million clause is in play and now everyone knows what they have to pay.
Farhad Moshiri can fund that easily, but he will need Premier League approval which is where the difficulties could come in between now and the start of September.
We are praying that this delayed payment structure doesn’t throw a spanner in the works and it would be the most Everton thing ever if it did.
Lampard will be desperate for this one to go through, and it really has to be the priority now with pre-season well and truly underway as we near the new campaign.
