Everton still in the race to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja
Everton are still interested in signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja, as per The Northern Echo.
The newspaper reported on their online version on 18 July that West Ham are leading the race at the moment to sign the player, but the Toffees are not out of the race yet.
Frank Lampard wants to sign the player permanently as he sees him as a replacement for Richarlison, while Chelsea are only interested in sending him out on loan.

Now or never
Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano has shared on Twitter on 18 July that Broja has agreed personal terms with West Ham, and that the deal is close to being done.
If Everton are really serious about landing Broja, they must move now.
To be honest, a loan move for Broja won’t be a bad option for the Blues who are struggling financially.
Chelsea won’t mind sending the 20-year-old on loan again, while Lampard can use the money elsewhere to bolster other areas of the pitch.
Broja scored nine goals whilst on loan at Southampton last season, and he was very impressive.

The Blues are not entirely keen on selling him permanently this summer, probably suggesting that the player is in the long-term plans of Thomas Tuchel.
With the Hammers leading the race for the signing of Broja, Everton have to make a last-ditch attempt to lure him to Goodison Park.
Lampard is a club legend at Chelsea, and he has great contacts within the club. Surely, the Toffees can’t let their rivals snap up the young talent so easily.
