Everton target Adnan Januzaj close to making decision on his future

Belgium winger Adnan Januzaj is getting closer to making a decision on his future amid interest from Everton, as reported by AS.

The Spanish publication has reported on their website on 19 July that Januzaj has offers from Everton and West Ham, while several other clubs in Europe are also interested in him

He has recently changed his agent, and a potential return to the Premier League remains an option.

He has had offers from the Middle East, but Januzaj prefers to stay in Europe and play in the Champions League again.

No way

Januzaj is a free agent, and the Toffees could be tempted to sign him, given their financial situation.

The 27-year-old made a strong impression when he was at Manchester United. He impressed heavily under David Moyes but failed to build up on the hype.

After loan spells at Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, he was transferred to Real Sociedad in 2017.

In five seasons at the club, he has made over 165 appearances and scored 23 goals in all competitions.

He has 15 caps for his country as well. It’s really interesting that the Toffees have considered him as an option, considering he was far from prolific in his final season at Sociedad.

Januzaj has failed to recapture his old form and remains as an eternal promise. Signing him would be a big gamble, and there are probably there are better options in the market.

Everton are looking at replacements for Richarlison, who joined Tottenham this summer, but Januzaj would be a really underwhelming signing for the club.
