Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx shares future update amid Everton links
Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx has shared that he plans on staying put in the Bundesliga amid Everton links.
Calcio Mercato reported in June that the Toffees were eyeing midfielder reinforcements this summer and were keen on bringing the 19-year-old to Goodison Park.
AC Milan and Nottingham Forest have also been attributed with an interest in the Belgian midfielder, but he appears to be content on staying in Germany for the time being.

As quoted by the Nottingham Post, “I hope to become and stay as a starter (in Wolfsburg’s XI),” he said. “We play with two number sixes and I’m mainly defensive.
“I have to organise things behind. I prefer to play more attacking. But, if that’s what the coach expects of me, I have to stay at the back.
“I don’t care about these Premier League rumours. It’s my agent who takes care of it.”
Move on
It’s pretty evident that he’s not interested in moving to England this summer so the Toffees must end their chase.
Central midfield is a priority position and they need to do their due diligence before making an offer for anyone.
With no Premier League experience as well, the 19-year-old does not seem an ideal fit for Everton in the first place.
If he keeps developing in the Bundesliga, the Toffees can rekindle their interest in a couple of years where they would be in a better position.
As of now, Frank Lampard must target players who walk into the first team and preferably have experience in the English top flight.
The club appear to be pursuing Wolves’ Morgan Gibbs-White whole heartedly this summer and personal terms are unlikely to be an issue for them.
