Time for Everton to show patience in pursuit of Armando Broja after recent update
Everton are going through a transitional phase where they’ve made some signings but have also faced difficulties in getting the other deals over the line.
One of such deals seems to be of Chelsea’s young striker Armando Broja. The Toffees are in the market to sign players to overhaul the squad and have been linked with the 20-year-old as a potential replacement for Richarlison.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are not accepting any bids to let the young striker leave in the summer.
Romano also reported that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is unhappy with a potential permanent move to let the player leave.
Everton have a number of problems going into next season. Despite the signing of James Tarkowski on a free, their backline looks shaky.
Similarly, there are no guarantees upon their midfield as many of their available players are either too old or simply not good enough.
Their attacking department has suffered massively after the departure of Richarlison who joined Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the window.
Moreover, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is coming into next season with question marks about his fitness more than anything else.

Therefore, Everton need an inspirational signing that can lift the mood of the fans and Broja can definitely be the one.
He was on loan at Southampton last season which proved to be a breakthrough season for him. The Albania international scored nine goals in 38 appearances across all competitions for the Saints [Transfermarkt].
As he is only 20, he still has a lot of room for improvement and therefore, it is imperative that Everton must show patience in his pursuit and hope that they will get their man before the end of the window.
