Everton could sign Idrissa Gueye on loan or permanent as new round of talks scheduled
Everton could sign Idriss Gueye either on loan or on a permanent deal, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Guardian journalist shared on Twitter on 31 July that the Toffees are set a new round of talks with Paris Saint-Germain to sign the midfielder.
The French giants are ready to let him go, while the player is equally willing to join the Toffees.

Get it done
The Toffees must do everything to get the deal done in the next few days.
At 32, Gueye may not be the same old player that he once was a few years ago, but he is still good enough to do a decent job for the club.
He is still capable of making over 35-40 appearances in a season in all competitions, and he would definitely add depth and quality to the side.
Everton have been crying out for a defensive midfielder, and Gueye would be perfect for that role.

The likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure and Tom Davies could flourish in his presence. Finance is a big issue for the Toffees, and Romano reported on 30 July that PSG want almost the full salary paid for Gueye to join the Toffees.
It remains to be seen if Everton can get him on loan for the rest of the season, which won’t be a bad move.
PSG are looking to offload the likes of Gueye and Gini Wijnaldum, and they will be willing to compromise.
His vast experience could come in handy, and the Toffees must not miss out on signing him.
