Everton-linked Emmanuel Dennis refuses to rule out Watford exit
Everton target Emmanuel Dennis has refused to rule out an exit from Watford amidst transfer rumours linking him with a move to Goodison Park.
The Nigerian forward has been linked for the majority of the transfer window with a move to the Toffees [The Express] after the Hornets were relegated to the Championship last season.
However, after starring for Rob Edward’s team in their pre-season opener against Sheffield United, the former Club Brugge attacker refused to rule out an exit.

As quoted by the Liverpool Echo, Dennis said: “I enjoyed the game today and we won the game, so I’m happy.
“I’m still a player of the team so I just do my job and we’ll see what happens.”
Move on the cards?
Everton have been pondering a move for the Watford forward and for good reason with the impact the Nigerian made in the Premier League last season.
Dennis was one of the surprise signings of the season last year, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in 36 Premier League games last season.
Despite the disappointment of Watford’s season last term, Dennis was undeniably the bright spark, and keeping hold of him this year will be the club’s priority this year as they look to return to the Premier League.

However, the fact he is already Premier League proven and 24 years old will interest the Toffees who are still looking to replace the goal-scoring output of Richarlison, who left the club earlier in the window.
It does not seem like the transfer interest has affected his game as against Sheffield United he looked increasingly sharp and committed.
His promising performance against the Blades put the Nigerian forward in the shop window, with other Premier League clubs inevitably coming to show interest in the versatile attacker if Everton does not act quickly.
In other Everton news, the club are closing in on a deal to sign Idrissa Gueye.
