Everton not able to sign Idrissa Gueye a blessing in disguise
Everton are reportedly frustrated with not being able to complete the signing of midfielder Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Daily Mail.
The Toffees are in the market to sign players to strengthen the squad ahead of the next campaign and have already signed as many as five players.
As per the latest report, the Merseyside club are getting a little restless after not being to complete the signing of the defensive midfielder.

Blessing in disguise
Everton entered the transfer window to add a number of players to strengthen the squad ahead of the next campaign.
One area manager Frank Lampard has been keen to strengthen is the defensive side of things as three out of the five arrivals are all defensive recruitments.
One of the players the former Chelsea manager has been keen to bring in is Gueye but it seems like the deal has stalled in the recent past.

By the look of it, the development might not be a great one but in true essence, it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise for the club.
The Toffees have already signed Amadou Onana from Lille who can play in an absolute similar position whereas there is also Allan there as well who will be eager to cement his place in the starting XI, therefore, they are likely to have enough options to operate in that department.
With Gueye uncertain to come to the club, it is time that Everton must focus on other areas of the pitch, such as the attacking front.
