Everton positive over signing Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque
Everton are reportedly positive over signing Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque after opening talks with the Ligue 1 side.
According to Foot Mercato, an English intermediary present in the transfer talks has claimed that the French team are open to cashing in on the 28-year-old this summer.
There has been decent progress in the last few hours and there is confidence on all sides to get the deal over the line.

Loan to buy bid incoming?
Signing a striker since Richarlison left has become a priority for the Toffees and they have been linked with a number of players.
However, until they brought in centre-backs and midfielders, they did not seem to be making any real progress towards bringing in a new forward.
They’re said to be preparing a £15.2million loan-to-buy bid for the 28-year-old which means that they’re now taking this extremely seriously.
Ajorque is an absolute monster, standing at 6 feet 6 inches tall and would be the ideal partner/backup to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
It would give Everton that added threat from set pieces and also the option of going direct against teams they’re not expected to retain possession against.
Whether or not Strasbourg are happy with the terms of the initial offer, remains to be seen, but negotiations suggest that both teams want similar outcomes.
