Everton target Mohamed Camara dreams of Premier League move this summer

Everton target Mohamed Camara is reportedly dreaming of moving to the Premier League this summer with Leeds United also looking at him.

According to Austrian media outlet Salzburg 24, the Mali international is desperate to leave before the window closes.

He fancies a move to Goodison Park and is keen on working under Frank Lampard who wants to sign another midfielder this summer.

However, there has been no offer submitted for him thus far.

Tad expensive

One of the major reasons why the club are pursuing a reunion with Idrissa Gueye is down to the fact that he will not be expensive.

Having spent big money on Amadou Onana, the Toffees can ill afford to go all guns blazing on another midfield target.

However, Gueye is now said to be having second thoughts over a return to Goodison Park and may reject the offer to come back to Everton.

If he gives them a resounding no, then they can move on and pursue other targets with Camara then being an option worth pondering upon.

A move for him is not going to be cheap so the club must check out their Profit and Sustainability numbers before pursuing this move.

According to Krone, Camara is valued at over £30million which means that he will roughly cost what Onana did – another expensive signing in midfield.

We’re unsure that the club will be able to afford this and they’ll be better off looking at players that fit into their budget while keeping tabs on Camara to see if Salzburg are willing to drop their valuation.
