Jean-Philippe Gbamin must secure Everton exit after being dropped v Aston Villa
Everton still need to do a lot of business before the end of the window, and that includes shipping out players who are surplus to requirements.
Frank Lampard needs to sort out his midfield areas. Andre Gomes could leave the club this summer, while Jean-Philippe Gbamin is facing an uncertain future as well.
Gbamin was fully fit for the clash against Aston Villa, but he was not selected in the match-day squad, as per a report from Liverpoolpool World.

The Toffees were already missing Allan and Gomes for this game, but Lampard still chose to omit the Ivorian midfielder from the entire match-day squad!
The message is pretty simple – he is not in Lampard’s plans for the 2022-23 season. It’s time for him to look for options elsewhere this summer.
Liverpool Echo reported on 14 August that Everton are trying to sign Idrissa Gueye this summer, and if they succeed in landing him, surely it will be all over for Gbamin.

Having joined in 2019 from Mainz, he has only made just eight appearances for the club, as he suffered a nightmare injury upon joining the club.
Last season, he was on loan to CSKA Moscow, where he made 13 appearances and scored two goals.
However, Lampard probably has made up his mind after watching him in the pre-season.
It’s really baffling that he didn’t even make the bench. With Abdoulaye Doucoure picking up an injury, it remains to be seen whether Gbamin gets a chance to shine.
However, it seems his time at Goodison is running out, and he must look to seal an exit to continue his career elsewhere.
