Chelsea owner Todd Boehly prioritises move for Everton attacker Anthony Gordon

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is reportedly prioritising a move for Everton attacker Anthony Gordon this summer.

According to Football London, the American is keen on the young Englishman as part of the rebuild at the club with the Toffees in line to make a £25million profit.

Exit bound?

Few would’ve expected Gordon to be leaving Goodison Park this summer but the chances of that happening appear to be increasing.

He burst into the limelight last season and proved himself as a responsible first-team player and only got better as the season progressed.

He is also in contention to make the England squad – something he would’ve deemed unthinkable a year ago.

An offer to move to Chelsea and play in the Champions League may not come again in his career and he will now have to make a big call.

Boehly seems hell-bent on signing him so we can expect the second bid made for him to cause all sorts of complications.

It’s understood that Gordon has told Frank Lampard that he wants the £45million bid to be accepted as he wants to seal his Goodison Park exit and move to Stamford Bridge.
