Everton must win the race to sign Lyon forward Moussa Dembele
Everton are in the hunt to sign a new striker, and they must do everything to sign Moussa Dembele.
FootMercato reported on 15 August that a host of Premier League clubs including Wolves, West Ham, Fulham and Nottingham Forest along with the Toffees are vying for the player’s signature.
Premier League rivals Manchester United are also considering making a bid for the striker, as per Manchester Evening News, and it’s time for the Toffees to act quickly.

The 26-year-old has only a year left on his current deal at Lyon. There is a high chance that he can still sign a new deal at the club, but plenty of clubs are vying for his signature including the Toffees.
Dembele is also being targeted by clubs in Turkey, Italy and Spain. While the ball is in the player’s court at the moment, the Toffees must look to bring him to England.
It was reported that the 26-year-old is not tempted by money, rather he wants to be a part of an ambitious project, and this is where Frank Lampard can jump in and talk about his redevelopment plans.
It has been well documented that the Toffees badly need a striker. Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains the only option at the club, and the Toffees need depth in that department.
The likes of Armando Broja and Che Adams are being targeted by Dembele would be a terrific addition. He could become the new hero at Goodison Park, just like what he did at Celtic.
He was a massive hit at Celtic Park where he scored 51 goals for the Bhoys in three seasons.
In total, he has managed 137 goals in his club career thus far. His best years are ahead of him, and given his contract situation, Everton stand a better chance to lure him away.
